Poet Abdel Rahman Yousef joined the youth of “April 6th Youth Movement” in celebrating their first coordinating conference that took place in the Journalists Syndicate under sponsorship of the Liberties Committee on Saturday 28th of June, 2008.
The poet started his speech expressing his wish that all efforts would come together in order to bridge the communication gap that exists between the generation that lived the experience and came out with lessons that could not be ignored and that young generation of public resistance which possesses the modern tools - the media and the Internet, as the poet expressed.
The participants interacted greatly with the poems recited by Abdel Rahman Yousef asking him to repeat parts of his poems over and over; important to mention that the poet recited two of his poems -“Tafa’ol” (Optimism) and “La Shafaa’a” (No Intercession)...
